8kpc Story

The center of our galaxy is 8,000 parsecs (8kpc) away, in the direction of the constellation Sagittarius. The center of our Galaxy is one of the most studied and yet enigmatic places in the Universe. At a distance of about 8kpc from our Sun, the Galactic Center (GC) is the ideal environment to study the extreme processes that take place in the vicinity of a supermassive black hole (SMBH). The Galactic Center is a hotbed of star-formation activity, containing the most massive star-formation site and three of the most massive young-star clusters in the Galaxy. The star-formation activity is the result of complex set of gaseous interactions. The outcome of the interactions is the birth of stars that shine upon the universe.

Similar to formation of the stars, as our company name implies, our mission is to innovate to manage complexity and produce elegant and easy-to-use, high-performance solutions for a broad range of IT needs.
